Yesterday, we launched the Best Sitcom Episode Ever tournament, an epic 32-episode bracket that pits the funniest single episodes of TV ever created against each other. And already, things are pretty tight! Our first two matchups were I Love Lucy— Lucy Does a TV Commercial vs. The Honeymooners — Head of the House and The Simpsons — Last Exit to Springfield vs. Seinfeld — The Contest. While the former’s results are pretty clear at the moment, you can see just how damned close The Simpsons vs. Seinfeld is. And voting is still open! Things should stay interesting later today, as we’re pitting The Cosby Show against Cheers and The Office (US) against The Office (UK). Stay tuned!
